Common questions
How do I count?
Open a counter, then turn the Digital Crown or tap the big number. Tap the minus button to go back one. You can change how much each turn of the Crown counts in Settings.
How do I set a goal or milestone buzz?
Long-press the number on the counting screen, or swipe a counter in the list and tap Edit. There you can set a goal, how often it buzzes, the step size and whether it resets every day.
How do I add Crown Counter to my watch face?
Touch and hold the watch face, tap Edit, swipe to the complications page, tap a slot and choose Crown Counter. Pick which counter it shows. Tapping the complication opens that counter.
When do daily counters reset?
At midnight in your watch's time zone. The previous day's total is kept in History.
I reset a counter by mistake.
Tap Undo, which shows for five seconds after a reset. To be asked before every reset, turn on "Confirm before reset" in Settings.
Do I need my iPhone?
No. Crown Counter runs entirely on Apple Watch and works without an internet connection.
Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it?
Only on your Apple Watch. Delete a counter to remove it and its history, or delete the app to remove everything. See the privacy policy.
